A three-year-old chimpanzee named Ham sits in the biopack couch for the MR-2 suborbital test flight.
On January 31, 1961, a Mercury-Redstone launch from Cape Canaveral carried the chimpanzee “Ham” over 640 kilometers down range in an arching trajectory that reached a peak of 254 kilometers above the Earth. The mission was successful and Ham performed his lever-pulling task well in response to the flashing light.

Tribantura is best known for their 1988 hit “Lack of Sense” released on the ZXY / Techno Drome International (TDI) label.
2009 saw the release of a 6 track CD including the original “Lack of sense” MCD completely digital remastered and with new coverartwork. The 6-track MCD is limited to 1000 units worldwide.
Tribantura were Frank Rückert (üNN, Rauschfaktor,…), a music and video producer and Oliver Langbein. The project was produced by Talla 2xlc and released 1 single only.
